Due two new tyres for my Leon Cupra and currently running PS2, anyone tried the PS3 yet - size is 225/45/17

Meant to be very similar to the PS2s, but better in the wet. Should make for a superb tyre.

Costco stock them now if you have membership, IIRC, they are about £125 each in that size.

Was thinking about these as my next tyre. Would be interested to hear how you get on, what the feedback is like through the wheel (do these have a relatively stiff sidewall?), and if they break away gently or just "give" when on the limit.

There is a tyre sale on at Costco at the moment (20% off if you buy four), I think it ends early July.

You can buy them in the sale and have them fitted whenever you want (up to one year).

I've got them fitted to my Accord a few months ago, think it was around Feb time. Used to have PS2's on the front and Yokohama AVSdB's on the back. Haven't done that many miles on them to be honest but I've not noticed any real differences to PS2's that were on the front. They seem quieter then the Yoks but they were on their last mm of life.

The PS2's and PS3's are definitely quieter then the F1 Asyms I used to have on the front and to date I've had no real brown trouser moments in them unlike the Asyms that used to make the car severely understeer.

To the OP, I've got exactly the same size all round and got them for around £413 fitted at a tyre place in Slough.

I hear that they are meant to be very good on the Honda Integra DC5 - can you confirm this?

Getting tyres tomorrow and it's between Eagle F1 Asy, PS3 or maybe CS3

At the mo PS3 for about £215 for a pair etc.
