One Epic Euro Road-Trip - Full Report

Thanks guys

Hey Shawdowness, is this your blog?

If so can i make a recommendation? As you click on one of the youtube videos it uses the same window tab. Can you make it that if you click on a link or youtube link it opens up a new tab?

I found it messy when i opened up a video and closed it down, your blog was missing. :(

Mine doesn't do that, it opens in a new tab. And why would you want to anyway? I've embedded them so everything is on the same page

That looks rather awesome. Something I'd love to do, hopefully going through Europe this summer but not driving, maybe next year!

The embedding doesn't work for me. Using FireFox I click on the video to play and it opens YouTube in the same tab. I did exactly the same as Schizophonic and closed the tab without realising and had to come back here for the link to your blog.

Did you use Google Maps to plan it? A friend and I did this route (more or less, had a few detours) last year in ten days, but two of them were at the Nurburgring meeting up with some other guys who buggered of to Amsterdam to get stoned afterwards rather than exploring the Alps

lol - yeh it's not like the film ;)

Thanks for the comments. To those that asked, it cost in the region of £500-550ish. But we got our ring passes for free so that would add another £100ish on top of that.

All the passes around and out of Andermatt and down to into Biasca are super super roads. A great place to spend a week or more even without doing the rest of Europe! My favorite is the Sustenpass with the road just rolling and rolling!

Brilliant, looks like you had fun. To all those reading this....DO IT, you are young but once and life can deal some crappy turns. Get out there, plan it, do it, drink beer, post on here when done.
