Hmm my current 360 is a 2006 model with a 5gb full hard drive and a controller with a battery so dead I have to keep the plug and play kit connected at all times. Hello slim me thinks, although I really wish it had blu-ray and MS gave XBL a browser with Youtube etc.

Up on a website for £199 as we speak

Make that 2 websites so far.

Wonder how hard it would be to transfer to the new hard drive, if they keep it the same then I might whack my old 20gb hard drive on my premium and sell it now, then transfer to the new slim and flog the 60gb drive.

supposed to be same price as the elite was before the new xbox, elite will go down in price to 249$

feel like getting the new one, love the look. bought my elite last november....think its a impulse thing

I'd guess about £50 max to be honest, new ones are only £100 and have HDMI, are quieter, use less power and are more reliable.

Still not a bad price, you get ~£50 from selling your old one and you are getting a 250gig hard drive + wireless N (£70+ and £40+ by themselves) as well as a new (hopfully) more reliable, anglular and warranty covered console.

So using idiotic logic you are getting a new console for about £50 ;)

For people who are already considering getting one... Is it not worth waiting until they release Natal 'Kinect', as I'm sure they will do one with it bundled, especially if they really want to push it.

In PC land, a 250GB hard disk is not worth £70, and a wireless N dongle is not worth £40 ;)

You poor 360 owners are being bled dry...
