Black suit, white shirt what tie?

Pale blue for the anger management sort. Tbh any colour, pink is always a good shout with a black suit.

Wear something colourfull but not silly, dark suit dark tie and a white shirt screams undertaker or funeral guest unless of course you are will smith.

Red tie, with either pale blue or white shirt.

I was thinking red. Isnt red supposed to show power and therefore probably be overpowering to the interviewer?

I was jsut gonna go and get whatever I liked but had a read and certain colour are supposed to mean different things. Like purple shows arrogance

I would never wear a black suit to a job interview, to me it screams you only own one suit and you use it for everything (unless you realyl do only own one suit and you use it for everything in which case you dont have much choice!)

Wear whatever tie you feel most comfortable wearing, and with how you look.

Confidence is very important when interviewing, and fretting about what you chose to wear will only make you uncomfortable.

A black suit is fine, just don't wear a black tie with it.

I also wouldn't wear a navy one, because it looks out of place when your suit is black. Instead go for something bright, or wear a different colour shirt.

I wore a yellow tie to a wedding. I got 3 comments asking if I supported the Lib Dems.
I'm so buying a yellow tie. No one ever expects me to be a lib dem supporter whenever we get into politics.

Just don't go for anything garish, like orange or purple. It'll stand out in all the wrong ways.
If you're looking to make a statement, black shirt white tie.
Else just something lightly coloured.

Does it matter? I mean, really?

"Ok this guy didnt pass, his answers weren't very good. No to that girl, she was nice enough but her skills arent what we're after. This guy, no way, he wore a red tie. i mean, what a ****. This guy though, he had the skills, the answers, the looks... and he wore a Cornflower blue tie. My very favourite. Hire him and double the salary."
