That sucks buddy, can't believe it was an OcUK'er that got arrested! Sounds like a complete mix up. I hope you are fully compensated and get all this behind you as soon as possible.

The way you described them treating you does not sound far fetched in this day and age and I believe that it really went down like that.

Having said that, all they have to do these days is use the old Anti-Terrorism chestnut and it pretty much leaves your a hole to get gaped open by the man. I honestly doubt you will get much compensation, but good luck trying!

Only advice I can give would be to get a legal professional with a lot of experience in this field, go for the best as if wat you say is true they won't be able to prosecute you for anything and assume they would then have to cover any charges.

No idea if any media exposure is good/bad in this kind of situation, I'm sure the papers might be interested in the story.

My advice is not to post about an ongoing investigation that you are involved in and that is is yet to be finalised.

If you aren't happy with your treatment then speak to a solicitor who will advise you on your options.
