Desperados drink where can I find?

Please tell me you don't drink it with lime in the top it was never meant for that. Plus it annoys me in bars when you order just about any bottle of beer they seem to ask if you want a lime in the top. Stupid fad that needs to go.

You can also get those mini kegs like the heinekin ones, if you fancied it in a frozen pint glass.

I hate it when you get a bottle of lager and they stick lime in it. "If I want a bloody cocktail I will ask"

Not that i drink lager often. I prefer Ale and such

Same but the quality of ales in clubs or those poncy bars are slightly lacking most the time, the filthy women won't come to my local.

I always just take the lime out, also makes me laugh when you see people in pubs order a fosters with lime cordial top. :D

Me and a few mates always use to stop at this hideous strip bar just as it was a midpoint between places we liked and it sold desparados the women were hideous but the drinks lush. :p

desperados is awesome stuff. i always pick up a few crates when in France. agreed that it does get a bit sickly after a few bottles though! i like the lime they put in corona and other bottled beers when out in pubs and clubs.

seriously tastes a lot better than it sounds. :p
I suppose it had better be for people to buy it at that price :p.

;)

I just find the 'I only drink ale 'cos I'm a man' posters funny for some reason
On the very rare occasions I have a tipple I usually only drink ale because I like taste. The fact that I have a **** has nothing to do with it.

I only drink ale because most common lagers and beers make me feel utterly bloated after about 3 of them. Plus they all taste relatively similar to me where as ales have such a vast range. One I would highly recommend for an ale NEWB would be badger they do an orangey labeled bottle and a yellow labeled one and taste very fruity.

I also find after about 3 I need to go onto spirits as I get bored of them. with Ale I don't. Recently been drinking a lot of Leffe Brune and Hoegarten though which is lovely.

I had loads of Desperados in france at least 10 years ago, never saw it again until 2/3 years ago in Manchester, you can get it in most clubs here now and a fair amount of pubs/bars as well as supermarkets. However in France we were drinking them because they were cheap, here they're not.

+1 Desperados fan here!

Stick a lime in the top, lovely stuff when cold in the summer. It's like 5.9% too which is quite high for a larger.

Only found it in pubs down my way, other than a random corner shop guy but it was fairly pricey per bottle in there, like £1.50. It's £2.50-£3.50 in pubs/bars from what I've seen here.

Leffe does have a rather pronounced taste. Its a required taste i must admit.

The light, refreshing character of our award-winning golden ale is distinguished by its subtle elderflower aroma, reminiscent of a

summer's evening. Champion is particularly rewarding when served chilled.

A refreshing premium ale subtly flavored with extract of peach. An award-winning 4.5% ABV premium ale, well balanced with distinctive bitterness and a delicate floral peach and melon aroma.
Legend states that the gift of peach blossom brings good fortune to the recipient.
Im a bit bias and think badgers range on the whole is lovely.

Lovely in general. They do a horrible liquorice one though (and I love liquorice so not sure why I didn't like it).

That sounds horrid. almost as bad as the Christmas pudding ale I had.

Morrisons do a summer ale thats also horrid. most of their own ales are
