007 Goldeneye Remake is real.

Anyone remeber the demo for the 360? That looked much better + live would have been so much better.

Yeah, that's what I was saying in my post.
Nintendo got into a dispute about it, then obviously clawed it back to make this game.

Also the fact that on Live, as an Arcade game for a small price I think it would have worked quite well. A full price, shoddy remake on the Wii, which requires everyone to be sat around the TV is not a purchase for me.

It's a bit disingenuous to say that Nintendo got into a dispute about re-releasing it. The original game was developed by Rare and published by Nintendo. Since the original game, the rights to produce Bond games passed to EA and then to Activision, neither of whom wanted to publish any Bond games for some time as they didn't think they were profitable. Around the same time, Microsoft bought Rare and, by extension, the IP of the original game. So, there were conflicts over which system it should be published on based on who originally published it (Nintendo), who held the rights to the game now (Microsoft via Rare), and who held the rights to produce new Bond games (EA/Activision).

It's been a mess, basically.

So er... when will Wii games start looking as good as Gamecube games? Super Mario Galaxy exempt, because they used some sort of evil voodoo witchcraft black magic for that.

No moonraker level then :(

As for the game itself, in the new screen shots it’s looking a hell of a lot better than the trailer released at e3

I think it would have been better to have a generic Bond (much like they did for the Bourne game) rather than putting the Craig Bond in the lead but it's understandable why they used him.
