This is going to be ace. It's GTA, GT, RESI and this that I bought the PSP for. So far we've seen a few of the above, now, let's see em all!

I downloaded the Japanese demo last night and I have to say the controls work quite well. Apparently there will be 3 different control schemes for the game when it's released. It's hard to understand any of what's going on with it all being in Japanese but hey, the gameplay is pretty good, reminds me a lot of Snake Eater. I haven't played portable ops because I've only got a PSPgo, and it's not been added to the store yet so I can't comment on similarities between the two.
The graphics are pretty darn good and I'd say they sit somewhere between MGS and MGS2, the cutscenes look gorgeous and the little lighting effects and other stuff that's been added to them makes it look PS2 quality. Now, all that needs to be done is for Sony to put up the original MGS on the Euro Playstation store to tide me over until this is released.

Peace Walker has been listed for release this week on the PS Store... the price is £31.99!! What are Konami thinking, the retail version has an RRP of 'only' £29.99 with it readily available from £17.99. I really feel sorry for those who only own a PSPGo and were looking forward to this.
In fairness to Sony they have tried to make sure PSN is competitively priced but digital distrubution really stands no chance if 3rd party's are going to treat it like this.

Indeed, I'm gutted, looking back I defended the Go tooth and nail and now I realise what an impulse buy it was. It's a nice thing to own, it looks good, it's light and easy to put in a pocket or something, but the games through the store are so overpriced. I really do wish I just bought a PSP-3000. There's no way I'm going to spend £32 on a PSP game, even if it is supposed to be excellent.

Just before I started the game I went on the Playstation Store to check the price and my eyes kinda went
I honestly don't mind digital distribution (I've bought both Gran Turismo and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite from the Playstation Store - each were a decent price) but when Sony uses it as a place to royally shaft consumers it does annoy me.
