What on earth are those silver bits just about where your crotch would go? They look like some kind of pop up *****.

Apparently it's a height adjustment screw. Though I did initially think it was a sweaty balls vent.

Black again, as was my 2nd M3, my current RS4, my wifes MX5 and as were most of my previous BMW's too, all of the ones I specced at least. I simply prefer it and that is all there is to it. If you think it's boring yet you're sitting behind the wheel of an RS4, M3, GT3 etc, you are perhaps define boring in a different way to me.


....hell it even has 'shag' on the doors!!

It's not a Sport coupe its an m3. If you read his posts the photo was taken before the short gearstick even existed.

The car arrived June02 which is about when the picture was taken I think.

My mate had an early E46 318 with a mint green cloth interior, it was disgusting. Would that have been a cost option?

Agreed, when I was looking for my car I saw loads of black interiors and none of them really did it for me.
When I actually sat in the one that I eventually did buy that I realised that it's that much more pleasant a place to be with a more intersting interior.

This pic is a little overexposed so the leather and wood aren't quite so bright in real life, but I find living with this much better than all black.
