my new dog

Tail looks docked but again its not illegal to do so aslong as performed by a vet.

Still not the nicest of practices.

KaHn

It's illegal under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons policies are such that a vet would risk being struck off the register.

Totally illegal in the UK, unless there are medical reasons or it's a proper working dog; Bulldogs are not classed as working dogs so if it is docked there should be a medical reason.

Ah sorry, its not illegal for certian working breeds where my confusion came in to it.
