A couple of ST220 questions

Problem is the satnav operates the climate control, so if you're going to rip it out I would find one without so you dont have to buy the climate control seperately.

Arse. Noted. :D

I want proper Ipod connectivity btw, not just an aux jack :)

On the subject of mechanical niggles to watch out for with Mondeos, make sure to check the handbrake for any signs of the calipers or cables siezing. Pull the handbrake on as far as it will go, then let it off fully and check there is no slack whatsoever in the lever. This problem plagued my Mondeo and virtually every other years I had to have something done to the handbrake after the MOT. Original Ford calipers are chuffing expensive though you can get recon ones for half decent money. Anyway, it was the last straw with me deciding to ditch my Mondeo this year, that and the Auxiliary belt tensioner.

Having a hard time finding a facelift for as low as some of the people in this thread have said they paid! Unless their values fluctuate, I guess?

Is £7k too much to pay for an 04 with 54k miles when you can get 53/04s with maybe 20k more miles for between 5 and 6k? Or is it just an indicator that the 7k one is likely to be in much better condition?

Well if its a 54 plate it's an 09/04 onwards car so the answer is pretty obvious :p

What this man said, if you want to buy some yellowstuff pads from me for the rear let me know I have a set on the side, obviously never used! :(

How did the viewing go howard?

How did it go? I'm slightly poorer than before I went.

Curse those salesmen making you pay deposits on things!

Congrats, that was the garage that let me have a right good hoon in an Focus ST when I was 19, friend got her new shape KA from there as well and my boss uses it for all his Mondeo servicing.

What's it like then? Do you have any pictures?
