Scariest thing you have ever done ?

Emergency landing in a Merlin in Iraq (near Iranian Border) and knowing that the whole area we were in was a massive minefield left from the Iraq/Iran wars. Queue the pilots (once we'd hit the deck) saying "any chance you can have a look around, see if there's any mines about?" :D

70mph ( honest ) Blowout on the motorway, But managed to hold it straight and true and get to the hard shoulder. Bricked myself!

Stupidly - first time experimenting with drugs, long story short, ambulance from Birmingham NEC, finding myself in hospital a few days later and having to ring mummy to come and get me

Young, reckless and foolish. I had a race with a Nissan 300ZX (I think, was a long time ago) and the only reason I 'won' was perhaps because I wasn't prepared to take my foot of the gas. I was driving a Rover 220 coupe and at around 130 - 140 I thought my time was up. Luckily it held the road and sense cut back in.

Got a few, but here are the ones that come to mind...

Following Ski guides in Whistler Canada, me and my dad looked and decided we couldnt do the route they were taking, couldnt turn back and both ended up slipping about 20 metres down a mountain missing the edge where there was a huge drop onto rocks by about 3 metres from where we stopped

Bungee in Ayia Napa

Trying to sleep too early after a mushroom shake in Thailand

Going on a guided hike in Laos, went over a bamboo bridge and was told to be careful. I was but some of the bridge broke and one of my legs went right through the bridge. The drop below was around 40 metres onto a very rocky dried out river

Text from an unknown number, along the lines of "i'm pregrant"...thinking it was my ex who I broke up with a couple of weeks previous...turned out my friend had a new phone and was winding me up :o

I've got to ask, Why were you being chased by a half naked lady boy?? :(

I would like to know this too o.O

getting hit by a land rover doing 50 while on my brand new road bike :(. All was good though I wrote off the car and had insured the bike days before :)

Crashing on the way to work one morning, van hit a concrete gate pillar on my side and left me with a nasty concussion. That or the day my mate almost shot me, out game shooting and he swung his gun to shoot a pheasant, not realising i was behind him, ended up with the barrel of his semi auto shotgun pointing at my chest.

Avalanche snowboarding - nobody hurt thankfully but very scary. Bad visibility, ended up in the wrong place, conditions changed very quickly. Massive slide. We had the right equipment and know what to do with it but it was quite terrifying.

Parachuting - glad i did it but never again. I get vertigo so it was more a matter of proving to myself I could do it than wanting a new hobby. I did static line as I wanted to be as involved as possible.
