Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

Me! :)

Although if you use Dhalsim, and are half decent you will probably destroy me! I use Ryu and I find that matchup v v hard, but would enjoy the challenge. No 360 here though mate, so it'll have to be PC if you are up forit sometime?

It would be good to vanilla again, so anytime today, i'm free till around 7pm.

So let me know before then and we'll get some action in

Looks like I'll be getting a serviced appartment in London for the next few months so I may be able to hold more regular session, and even weekend ones :)

Ah right, which one did you order in the end? My GTX260 still seems to be going strong and SF4 is the ONLY game I play on PC :p so hopefully get another year out of it yet!

i went for broke and ordered an evga gtx 470! thanks to that my bank account is empty now!

Good games mate, really forcing me to be patient there. I am normally more attacking and reckless lol, however you could have just sat there kneeing me into next week. :o

I am pleased at how I did when I did manage to get in close, tried to vary low and high attacks, cross ups and FA to try and keep you guessing. There is a lot of potential in that Dhalsim, definately one of the best I've played on these forums. :) Rainiac on the PS3 is quite handy with him too actually, I use to practice vs him.

Most the rounds there were very close aswel, and most the games were 2-1.

Sorry I had to rush off, my neighbour was at the door, had to pick something up from him before he went out. Just about to eat now though, but definately up for some more sessions anytime in the evenings! :)

Art relayed that message you sent him haha :)

Yeah, it was a bit strange going back to vanilla after all this time.

You've got a really good Ryu, nice fundamentals and punish well.

After you left i went into training to try and figure out what's different between the Sim in Super and Vanilla.
They seemed the same, but as soon as i played Art in Super, i felt a lot more comfortable.

I could immediately see the buffs they gave him.

But it was good going back into Vanilla again, i might need more time to adjust to the weaker Sim, but whenever you're free, it'd be good to get some games.

Note to everyone here, get an Xbox!
None of this PS3 mullarky haha

LOL the cheeky **** :p

I am glad you saw the humour in it though :) Too many people take this game way too seriously. I regularly taunt arth, when he tries it back mid-game he gets punished... hard! ;)

I think I definately need to get a 360 so I can join you guys in some endless battle sessions. But keep playing against the likes of Artheas and Margaret and you will be forced to up your game, and meet Kreeeee offline for some Balrog action, don't worry I have also been at the receiving end there...

Rav has played my rog offline, got spanked :p

He beats my DeeJay cleanly though.

Yeah I remember you guys mentioning you had an offline meet. Even though Dhalsim is a bad matchup for me, I did suprisingly well and kinda figured out how to win. Was just a matter of being patient and waiting for any opening to get in close. I lost the first game but won the rest, some rounds were VERY close.

I really enjoyed the games because I played totally different. Had to try and zone more and if I had a health advantage I had to hold onto it and force him to make a move on me otherwise the time was ticking away. When I did get in close I had to keep him from teleporting away. Rav will figure me out after a few more sessions and the games will be mighty close.

Would be interesting to see how Rav and Hyv do against eachother, both I think are on a similar level.

i probably lose 10 games in a row with every game being 3-2 :P

lol it happens. ;) Shorter games might be better in that respect, keeps it more open I think. Nothing worse then winning 2 rounds then losing the next 3! =/

Have you played Rav though? Hmm Chun Li vs Dhalsim, hard to call that one, I have no idea who the matchup is favoured too.
