Classic Car Insurance for a Modified Classic

Footman James won't touch under 25s unless you call them; or will they just not touch you on that cause it's modded? I was insured with them at 17.

On a stock car they'd insure me, but after I mentioned the engine change, they didn't wanna know because I was under 25.

Unfortunately this sort of thing rings alarm bells with insurance companies whether it's swapping in a big supercharged V8 or a slightly bigger engine from another model which is still tiny and relatively low powered by modern standards.
