Pray you have enough legroom.
I suffer on flights as I'm 6'6" and technically borderline whether I need to pay (grr... bloody discrimination) to upgrade to extra legroom. My knees usually won't fit in the seat properly and be bent at odd angles so even short haul gets very uncomfortable.
Dunno if you have the same problem but it's a damn nightmare for me.
Motion sickness patch, get one from you doctor just incase, I didn't suffer from travel sickness til I flew to the us, needless to say after a couple of hours I wanted to chuck myself off the plane. I was going out of my mind by the end of the flight.
Aside from that take a long book or two, an mp3 player, laptop maybe. Or you challenge to tag all the airline stuardesses (and if you have one, female pilot) in the space of the flight. It's a story to tell the lads aint it
