We have a stag weekend coming up, everything is sorted but as an extra "treat" we wanted to get everyone (13 of us) a set of Billy Bob teeth http://billybob.s408.sureserver.com...23&rnd=7565865&pg=store&sub_pg=main_cat&ref=6 unfortunately our budget just would not stretch to it, so we have gone down the cheaper route.

We got hold of some of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Smiffys-Tee...f=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=toys&qid=1276852595&sr=8-1 with the idea of staining them to make them look less white etc, but it just isnt working.

Next idea was to possibly paint them, but i have no idea what to paint them with (paint toxicity problems?).

Any ideas?

I don't understand all the nonsense that people go to on stag/hen do's.

I went on one recently where we did some jeep driving and then went to a pub, it was an entertaining do. If I ever get married, it'll be a pint in a nice pub in Cambridge.

Agree entirely, however this isnt my stag do, im not even the best man!

we are doing the clay pigeon shooting/ buggy driving/ comedian thing but the best man wanted everyone to get dressed up.

Any thoughts on what can be done with regards to the original question anyone?

you could try going to your local games workshop. the paints they do are non toxic (and also dont taste vile, according to my youthful paintbrush cleaning methods). they dry pretty quickly too.

looking at the ones you were originally going to buy, you might want:

bestial brown/vomit brown/bubonic brown
blood red/red gore/scab red
chaos black

not all of them, obviously, but take a look at the selection and see what looks right.

13 (well ok, 12) of you can't muster up £130? Sounds like you're going to have a blast ;/

Of course 12 of us could muster up £130, the problem being that we have already stumped up close to £320 each for the trip, some people are a bit loath to contribute anymore cash.

Cheers tailgunner for the suggestions, might just give that a try.

sounds boring.

you can "goto a nice pub in cambridge" any day of the week. Stag partys are suppose to be different and special, hense why people go the extra effort

I agree with platypus. My stag-do involved a few beers with my mates in Cambridge and a curry bonanza. Whilst I can see your point that you can do that anytime it allowed me to see mates from all over the world that hadn't got together in a while so it was perfect. It was also fairly cheap and caused no problems for anyone. If I was given the choice again, I'd do exactly the same thing. It's very hard to catch up with a mate when you're both on quad bikes. ;)

Maybe I'm getting cynical in my old age but the idea that stag/hen dos are supposed to be something amazing has always struck me as an invention by people with vested interests. IMO, it reminds me of the number of unnecessary card-given days that there are each years.

P.S. Sorry no idea how to stain the teeth but some of the comments are comedy gold. :)

He speaks the truth. The state of some folk on these type of do's is just ridiculous. Some people seem to let go of all self respect and forget that they are actually meant to be mature adults, not a bunch of 3 year olds.
