Hello All,

I need to buy a new motherboard that will take my Intel Q6600 CPU and my OCZ PC2 8000 DDR2 ram, which ones do you recommend I should get.

I am not looking to overclock at this percise moment, but my look into it later...

Thanks for any information provided.

Andrew

There's as broad a choice as there's ever been for those in the market for a motherboard. A motherboard will generally only support one type of processor, such as a Pentium 4 or Athlon 64. You can easily search on internet, there are many website are available, which gives you more information.

Yea, I think he knows this and wants a recommendation from us based on our own experience with s775 core 2 boards.

Personally, I have used the ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo (P45) and it is an excellent board. It has loads of features RAID, crossfire etc., it overclocks well and comes with a 3 year warranty with ASUS. If you don't need so many features, the lower prices P5Q boards are still excellent. I suppose it mainly depends on your budget.
