How to crossfire 2x 5770's - No crossfire connector!!

Eh? 4870x2 you mean? 2 times 5770 is equiv/ better than 4870x2 more or less. After looking at lots of reviews I'm well happy with the result. Dx11 goodness, less heat, power etc for no pounds

but did they ask if that was ok? i only have 1 pci-e slot and if that turned up i would be screwed
 
Just to clear up - I had one 4870x2 which is indeed a single slot solution. My motherboard does have 2 PCIe slots though, so two 5770's is actually ok for me.

However, I am semi annoyed at ocuk/ Powercolor as I expressly requested several times during the RMA process that I wanted to be told what the replacement would be BEFORE they offered or sent it. They didn't do this, nor did they check to see if I had 2 slots, so if I did only have one PCIe slot it would be a useless replacement wouldn't it.

;) knew it, hence why i said i would be fuming! its a bit slack if u ask me but at least u got your RMA and they didn't blame courier damage on the customer like EVGA did to me :rolleyes:
