Just been out to start my sons car (he's on holiday) and found a puddle in the front passenger foot well.

It isnt locked but all the windows are shut.

Its an 07 320 coupe, any ideas?

Don't the coupes have an issue with the rubber door seals? Sure I read about it whilst researching the saloons issues. Might be worth a look at the rubber.

Iv had a good look and cant see anything wrong with them, feel a bit bad him coming back to a swimming pool while its in my care.

Just out i think, i might be wrong.

I mean whats the worst it can be? I was thinking of sticking it in somewhere and getting it done before he comes back.

Take it to your nearest dealer/specialist to see what they advise? If they're a half decent dealer they won't charge you just to check.

Someone will be along shortly saying "LOL BMW NOT CHARGE? ROFFLESMAYO" though I'm sure.

Phone your local dealer and ask them if it's still under warranty, if it is then take it down there.

Oh well its out of warranty, but they said bring it down and they will sort it out. Big up Broad Oak BMW!

Stupid car, i told him to get a 4 door.

What is the underlying issue with these seals? Is it a gradual permanent compression of the rubber, or does the rubber shift in its seat over time?

I havent got a clue to be honest, i just explained what had happened when i dropped it off and they replaced it.
