Dark evenings on their way.

Today is the 22nd, so days will get shorter and nights will get longer, who's looking forward to Christmas and some more winter snow chaos in the UK?
 
Winter chaos is brilliant. Days off work. Everything a little chaotic. Love it!

People that get out of bed and think '1 foot snow? OMG OMG OMG the government has failed us, my life sucks' need to chill a bit (excuse the pun!)

This. It makes me depressed to think we're only a few months from Xmas ads popping up on TV, ***** are normally first :(

I love being done at work just before and after 10pm, and that it's still light.
Detested the days in winter where it's been dark before I started at 6pm...

It's not even been properly warm yet this year :(.

imo:

Getting up in darkness= fail
Getting up in cold= fail
It being to cold outside at night to sit in just a t-shirt= fail

Going out of work at 10pm and it being still light= win
Getting up without feeling cold= win
Getting&waking up in light > getting/waking up in dark.
Girls in shorts&skirts due to the heat = win
Girls at the beach due to the weather = win
No pesky kids throwing ice(snow)balls at your car making dents or grabbing the snow of your car making swirlies/scratches in the process= win
No aggressive salt to wash off from your car
Not having to pay for heating

ofc winter as it's advantages, like falling asleep easier due to the cold, no annoying insects and mosquito's, handbrake fun at maccy d's carpark, no issues with hayfever, nice white landscape....

But I far prefer summer.

I like early nights.. I hate going to work and coming home in the light.. makes me feel terrible :(
 
No chance, loving the long evenings. I can stand outside a pub up here and see light over to the East just after midnight, it's not really been properly dark for ages. I don't consider myself to have SAD or such, but I am distinctly cheerier on long summer days..

I feel quite the opposite.

If it's dark I think ''FFS the day is over already'' ?
If it's light I call my mates and do something fun.

Not to mention having nicer&further view of all the boobs&arses errr girls walking by.
 
Eh? Summer is over already? Can't be, my bike is not had it's engine rebuilt!

Can't it wait another month?????????????

Bloody hell people are we forgetting this summer has just started!!! lol. Coz it gets darker earlier, doesn’t necessarily mean its autumn/winter is here.
