GTX 470 SLI OR HD5870 Crossfire??

Now ATI seem to of screwed there drivers I was thinking, maybe I should have gone for 2 470s?

2 GTX 470s beats 2 5870s does it?

How do you mean mate, isnt the 5890 roughly two 5870`s performance ?

The 5970 is 2 x 5870 gpu's on 1 board but they run at a much lower speed. 5870 cores run at 850mhz where as the 5970 cores run at 725mhz. The 5970 pretty much runs around the speed of 2x5850 in performance terms.

Probably for me the 470's would edge it due to better crossfire scaling from what I have seen, so long as you have a well ventilated case in a decent size and well ventilated room.
