Getting let to watch the football at work.

I know they've let my lot have it on Subtitled in the control room... I can see my colleauges on the radio:

"Whisky Hotel Control to Romeo 11... OMG GOAAAAAAAAAAAAL"

Our boss told us he was going to another job and hoped sincerley we didn't have an emergency at home. We all met in the pub by half two :D

the company i work for let people watch the game, however you were still expected to be "working". most of the senior managers sat around watching the game, but then again no one complained when I walked out at 4:30.

motorway was nice and quiet today!! :)

40" plasma in meeting room. Beer and nachos provided by director. No prob as long as we make up the hours.

Had a scare when we found out a guy from our Edinburgh office was coming for a meeting at 3pm with some clients or something, but we just got them to use the breakout area instead of our meeting room.

Work in the office of a beer delivery company

All the drivers had a few extra guys brought in to help clear work, so 90% were finished by 2pm
All the management just happened to finish early today.
The warehouse did more last night so days could have the time to watch it.

Me and 4 other people sat in the office listening to it on the radio...wooo! :(

Told we need to take half a day off if we want to see it.
Big 50" tv was not tuned into that channel
bbc sport + 5 live on iplayer and sky sports was blocked purely for this match.

And they wonder why moral is really low in the office?

I work in a prison so to watch the game our boss decided to have a lock down (lock all the inmates up all afternoon) so the staff could watch the match lol result happy staff . unhappy con's lol brill.

:D

The boss headed home to watch it, (told us he was going to another job), ended up watching it on a stream on my workmates i-phone.

I was delivering day 1 of a 3 day training course today. I thought that my delegates would probably have their minds on the game at 3pm and wouldn't really be learning anything. This idea was further reinforced when my first delegate asked about the game and another 2 delegates turned up in England shirts.

So at 3pm, we downed tools and put BBC iplayer on the projector in the training room and will make up the time over the next couple of days.

Doing a consultancy course in work and they had on the agenda 3pm - 5pm England v Slovenia. Excellent!

Projector + huge blank wall.

You up in Edinburgh? Surprised they let you watch it up there! Bloody ICAS means I miss the first half cos the bitter scots decided to make me sit an audit exam.

I worked flexi so I could go home at 2pm.

There is one dept at work which is full of young people around 18 to 22.
The boss told them they could watch the match as long as they paid back the hours (come in early, go home late etc).
They all started moaning so she told them all to **** off.
I really can't understand what was going through their minds.

Yeah. Are you KPMG E2? They've got their ABS exam tomorrow in ICAS. I finished my exams on Tuesday so 3 day consulting now.
