Why is this the top read news story on BBC?

Haha this is serious stuff i would be pretty annoyed if i had missed any of the game because of a power cut! However i do agree with you that there must be more important things going on in the world than some star being slightly annoyed!!!

I never watched it either went for a coffee done abit of shopping aswell, nice and quiet it was to.

Probably been read so much because Declan Donnellys name is on it

...But I think chance and title must play a big part - eg if it gets onto the bottom of the top 10 for whatever random reason, loads of people will click on it just to see what's going on. Also, what annoys me is how the titles are often very misleading, and suck me into clicking a link then I find out that actually the story is about something completely different to what I expected, and it's rubbish anyway. Like this story.
