Had them for a couple of weeks now but just cant find a good balance with them, gaming or music.
I got rid of my 5.1 setup cos i wanted a more cleaner look on my desk.they sound like there in a can if that makes sense.
Tryed the three settings on the sub.
im running them with my x-fi titanium.

Been thinking of getting rid of all including sound card and trying diffrent setup.
Anyone found the same or any ideas.

it was one of the satellites, sounded distorted, took me a while to realise at first, it wasnt like in your face obvious( i was just dissapointed at first). Listen to the satellites independately, and try and see if you think one in particular is broken. Also, i kind of want to say that it sounds like there may be a dodgy connection. - Like if you ever put a headphone socket in halfway, if thats all you heard you wouldnt quesiton it, but when you push it in fully you get the full sound, i dunno just a thought...

sounds like a back sonnection or maybe a dodgy pair of pair of aego ... ive owned it myself and can say was the best set of pc speakers ive ever own ... wouldnt mind gettign the b&w pair reviewed in what hi-fi mind ... £400 .....awibble

Speaker position can play a big part too, I found them to be really good.

I have had aego for 2 year now, I never realised how good they were till I move the satellites further apart

well after your top tips all, moving them around has made a huge diffrence to the sound, just listening to some del amitri at the mo and its lovely.

many thanks all for your help:)

Speakers need to be 'broken in' as well, they should get better after 100 hours+ of use

A complete myth.

Anyway, I've got nothing but good things to say about my pair of Aegos. They could possibly be faulty, but I can't understand how anyone couldn't be impressed by them.
