Ironic coming from someone in Glasgow, I think technology in Glasgow peaked with the advent of traffic lights ;)

Guess you don't know Aberdeen that well or your just illustrating north/south/central racism as I work near a government research facility on the outskirts of aberdeen, not to mention its the European capital of oil and gas services - you should go and try and extract oil 1000 metres Subsea, through presalt without any hi-technology ;D.

I was kidding...

I do know Aberdeen very well having grown up there and living there for the majority of my life not to mention living within walking distance of Subsea 7 and Technip.
But yeah, my point stands. There's sod all hightech in Aberdeen. It's all in the suburbs :D
