Why buy something you find bland?

I liked the look of mine when I got it and never said the E60/61s were bland. This new one looks bland but going from an old hanger version I can see it's appeal for you.

This version looks Ok. But because it's BMW you think of high expectation of it looking like a super duper car. Front is very 7 Series-ish. I bet in the flesh it'll look good. Should have got the saloon pictures.

lol, why are people creaming themselves over a bland BMW diesel estate?!

Its about as desirable as herpes.

I can only lol.

I must say, i was thinking the same thing. While i will not go as far as to compare it to herpes, i will put it on a par with the fact that Vauxhall have just released a new Meriva in terms of my level of enthusiasm for it :p

Good when its 5-10 years old as a used buy, but i'd never pay good money for it.

What's with all the diesel estate moaning? The idea is it gives us a look at the styling of the M Sport trim level. It just happens to be photographed as a 530d estate.

Nobody is excited about it in diesel estate form but the prospect of it in saloon guise with the twin turbo V8 or the 300bhp turbo 535i is appealing.

The only reason these is an estate in the op is because that's what was leaked.

I wouldn't go as far to say an e39 is a 'banger' but it's getting on a bit now - the design is what 15 years + old, the same way a MK2 Mondeo is getting on.

Being a 'banger' or not depends on the quality of the car to me, not the age.

The only reason some cars look old because the majority of people these days drive new cars. So you're used to seeing new cars with LED lights and nice shiny alloys/paint and stuff. However Old is Gold.

dunno does look ok-ish i want to see salon tho :)
