'full' signal bar on "H" using 3

Averaged across 3 runs using different servers
1,100 kbit/s down
1,180 kbit/s up

150ms latency

ping 140
1928 Kbps down
1667 Kbps up

Orange, Bristol.

This is on HSDPA, If anyone get's above 384kbps they are on HSDPA for the record.

ping 134
2642 kbps down
1729 kbps up

O2 simplicity with full H reception in the centre of London

I think that test is pretty rough, seems to cache on later tests and fluctuates pretty bad.

Just ran it 5 times, average is 1833 down, 1624 up and 140~ ping.

G, three bars of signal, about three miles out from Birmingham city centre:

Download: 42kpbs
Upload: 27kpbs

I'm on Orange. What fantastic speeds :D

Edit: Ping: 688ms

My dad's Orange is also poor. Orange don't support HSDPA do they and their 3G receotion is flaky at best too.

Glad I didn't choose Orange :p

Orange have the second largest HSDPA deployment in the UK. HSDPA is an extension of 3G and Orange has the largest coverage of 3G by population % (eg we cover more people than anyone else).

3 Have the largest Geographical deployment (ie covers the most land)

Vodafone have the fastest (as in, they support the fastest class of HSDPA over the air)

T-Mobile though get the highest average speed in most industry testing.

T-mobile and Orange are joining networks pretty soon.
