Dammit... I have a Desire for a new phone...

Multitouch is so much nicer to use than The little zoom button, not to mention the cool feeling when you do use it. Gotta give Apple credit for something...

Well that trip was inconclusive. In fact it's got worse.... Now I remember why the HD2 was so appealing...

The Desire ROM on the HD2 would be perfect... :p
 
The HD2 is one sexy beast. :p

However sense looks a bit boring on it, think I definately want something different which is why the Desire version of sense appeals to me so much...

Either way I can't get it on the same contract so i'll not be getting it anyway.

Still waiting. Think i'll just get the Desire in the end, even with it's faults, unless root becomes public and a couple of decent ROMs come out for it. I technically have 14 days after I get the desire so plenty of time. :)

As the iPhone thread has gone i'll reply in here...

That is terrible tbh, but then it is Apple and they have a history of forcing people to change the way they do things to conform with Apple products rather than actually get a product to conform to them...:rolleyes:
 
Ahhhhg! There goes tuesday and wednesday and I still haven't got my phone. I got two out of stock emails from buymobilephones on monday but nothing since. Kind of hoping that would mean I would get one today... :(

I know there are a couple of us waiting for them to get them back in stock, I assume no one has got one in the last couple of days?:p

What's almost as annoying is that the HD2 now seems to have an almost fully working port of Android on it... Very tempting still but I bet it won't be as stable as a dedicated one.
 
Mine was dispatched this afternoon. I'd guess they're just working through in order and they haven't got to you yet, mine wasn't dispatched till late on. They'll probably send it tommorrow.
 
Cool. Hopefully I either get a suprise wakeup call tomorrow morning (unlikely...) or it comes on friday. Finally.

If it doesn't come then I'll change the order and get an X10. :p

I had a go on one today and thought it was poor compared to my Desire, that said it could have been a dodgy handset with old software or something :p
