Mortal Online has been released?

The Brownwood trees down the road from Fabernum are legendary. Nothing like 50 naked men with their dongs out chopping wood together.

For new players: Fabernum is probably the best starting location. Although the number of mobs is slightly lacking, there are deer-type mobs (I forget their name) down from bridge the that are more profitable than farming brownwood. When it gets dark you can head back to the outskirts of Fabernum to gather wood. However this is prime-time for PKers to turn up as the dark makes an easy escape so I wouldn't recommend prolonged AFKage.

There are weasels, pigs and springbok within 5 minutes of Fabernum which provide a good place to start, although Fabernum seems to be sorely lacking in crafters, which is a bit poo for getting armour and weps.
 
I've found it to be alright although I only have Meduli to compare to. A dude called "TheWall" and his mates tout their stuff at very good prices outside the bank.

yeah you can download the client before activating your account, do it all in one go though as i did it in bits the first time and it got corrupted so i had to download the whole damn thing again

Interesting that a lot playing this are saying "Been waiting for a good MMO" or "Ticks all the boxes for me".

I think it is just the fact that someone has decided to develop a TRUE grown up MMO.

I hate having to "Quest".. I dislike "Fantasy". This has very little questing and is low fantasy.. ticks all my boxes anyway :)

Nice pic. I still think they should include the option to switch between first and third person as it would open up the game to a lot more people, plus its always nice to be able to see what your character looks like (and in combat).

Is there actually any form of crosshair in this game other than for the bow and arrow?
