In my mind Michael Jackson = Garry Glitter and I fail to understand why people seem to forget that he's been to court on charges of child abuse several times.

Difference is that Glitter was found guilty and Jackson was not.

MJ was odd I admit, but was never convicted.

Also, use search feature.

Again also, people remember him for his music and talents.

People assumed the world was flat.

Honestly don't care if MJ was guilty or not, he is dead. Was found not guilty. Move on.

Kiddie fiddling aside, you've missed the whole "no problem can't be beaten to death with a $50" aspect to it.

Apt comparison with the world is flat argument as well.

Because he was found innocent.

We can't be 100% sure but we have to assume he is. It isn't fair to brand someone as a rapist forever just for being charged.

RIP MJ. :(

I dont get the whole anniversary of the death of a great man tripe either.

Its not a nice thing he is dead, but for me his death was a complete non event considering I can only really say I like 3 of his tunes, and the anniversary of his shuffling off is even less of an event.
I dont understand what, outside of being able to throw some shapes and spend massively more than he was worth, he actually...................did.

I heard through the media that he paid one family off, for his own reasons.

However, I did not know paying someone off automatically found them guilty.

Care to share some ground breaking evidence with the rest of us that shows otherwise?

Well that's a predictable response and don't be crass, how on earth would I have any ground breaking evidence?

Why pay the other party off if he and his lawyers are adamant he's innocent? Settling out of court can usually be interpreted as an admittance where the 'guilty' party will find it easier and cheaper not to wrangle in court.

I mean there was a whole lot of attention over this and it took years and almost bankrupted him. If he was clear cut innocent this would all have blown over quickly with a heck of lot less money spent. Those two things say a lot in my eyes.

Anyway, I'm still sticking to my belief that he was guilty, but because as loopy as he was, the intent was probably not malevolent.

I liked him because he was living proof that if you try hard enough to be white you can eventually turn white.
