men of war is so rubbish compared to coh cant believe someones recommending that game

 how can you say that!

Though to be fair and while this sounds stupid apart from the whole WW2 set RTS theme, they are very different types of games. Probably just as many people hating one and loving the other as others hating/loving both of them.

I'm hoping for DoW:Chaos Rising to be offered on it's own. I know I can pick it up retail for £15, so £29.99 on steam seems a bit steep.

Also bought Second Sight, bargain at £1.69. Loved it on the Xbox, but never finished it, and it's one of the games that is not back compatible with the 360.

both ww2 strat games but very different in scale and design, we used to play coh a lot but not since mow came out, once you have played mow coh feels a bit like rock/paper/sissors where mow is a bit more open, mow has a huge variety of units too and game modes which keeps things interesting.

Both are great games.

There are some very good mods out for mow too and a mp expansion coming soon.

I play it online so the sp voice acting does not matter one bit and in sp don't really care too much anyway.

We shall be playing tonight as it's "late night friday gaming" xfire = hankmarvin if anyone wants a game.

I actually vastly prefer Men of War over COH (I find COH far too arcadey for my liking). Although the voice acting in MoW is diabolical, in terms of strategy I find MoW a much better game. Horses for courses though.

Am hoping the 1C collection will get discounted as there are a couple on their list I want, but if the pakc gets the same idscount, it will work out loads cheaper, adn have more games - even if I wasn't particularly bothered about a lot of them :)

There's a decent chance of it being discounted, apparently for a few minutes yesterday it was listed as 75% off or something until it was put back up, maybe one of the steam monkeys getting the day wrong.

coh has the deepest combat and strategy of any rts online
