Last week I made the mistake of downloading the "new" Nickelback and Muse albums. Now I can't stop listening to them. Both albums are just superb, with these songs specifically the pick of the bunch.:o

Havent heard the nickelback, but definitely fond of the new muse album. Thought it was a real return to top form for them :)

Nickleback tend to have that effect, kinda like vodka red-bulls, you know they are rotting your brain and turning you into everything you hate but you JUST CAN'T STOP.

Worst Muse song on the album! :D

Neva! In truth there is only one that I'm not particularly fond of, all the rest are "epic" in true Muse fashion. It's just music you can take on a plane/train and use as a soundtrack to massive change if you get what I mean.

So true. Their last album is like that, especially "Animals".:D

I don't think I've ever seen the words Nickelback and "superb" used in the same sentence before.

It's new to me and I don't like it. I honestly cannot fathom it. They're horrific.

You ripped your ears off yet :p

I won't just flame...this week I've been mainly listening to

James - The Best of James

MGMT - Congratulations (this surprised me - an excellent album and far removed from the first)

Also been listening to a lot of The Music again this week.

The latest muse album did suck, and well nickleback ........ each to their own but as someone else said ' superb ' and ' nickleback ' do not mix.

Horrible band.

I once had the unfortunate displeasure of being stuck in a snooker hall whilst Nickelback's (apparently) two biggest fans hogged the jukebox and played their dirge back-to-back through every single. Twice. I got stuck in the indecision of deciding whether it would be better to off them both with a cue as violently as possible, or just do myself in, and stop the pain as quickly as possible.

You should have stuck the fat end of the cue in both their heads, better to put them out of their misery than leave them suffering in the belief that Nickleback are actually any good.

Enough bad taste in this world.
:(

Don't like Nickelback, Muse aren't terrible. Bellamy's voice irritates me though. You can hear him inhaling before every line.

This week I 'av mostly been listenin' to....................Van Halen. Bought 1984 a few days ago. Great album.

I went to see them at Donington that year supporting ACDC and Dave Lee Roth did the best put down of a fan EVER.
During I'm On Fire a bottle flew at DLR and he stopped the band.
He pointed at the guy and said "I saw who did that, it was you and after the show I'm going to **** your girlfriend" and he probably did :)
He then counted 1, 2,3,4 and resumed I'm On Fire.
What a man.
