I think i saw the Stig just now driving a brand new looking mercedes in his full gear. All i could see was his white helmet and the top of his jacket. I am in Guildford so pretty near woking where they do there testing!!!

I was more focused on looking at the person in the car and also trying to drive my car without crashing so couldnt get the exact model i am afraid!

The Stig rarely drives on public roads though. Can't remember the last time they showed The Stig driving on public roads with other cars around.

The actual content of the show is filmed well in advance and they do the filming a week before it goes out as far as I know. Although they could be filming one of the last episodes of the series. Was there a camera crew around?

hmm not sure they may have passed me before he did. They went past me from a head on view they didnt overtake me so i didnt really see them for very long. Just enough to see it looked like the stig or some weirdo dressed in a white racing suite and helmet! haha

The Caterham challenge, but that was a good while back.

Was there a camera car? Other wise it might just be some loony who likes pretending to be The Stig.

He did drive in a Cataram in one of the series all the way to scotland I think?
