There are going to be som many rules and regulations.
Then add in a Sunrise period to allow current adult sites to get the same with .xxx and once more the best ones will be gone before most people can register.

Looking at the registry's site it's not going to be open for signup, existing adult sites will be allowed one and other people will be allowed to register them to prevent .xxx versions of their domains.

This will only be a good idea if porn sites can ONLY use xxx domain. Otherwise it's just another domain for them to buy up and it will change nothing.

that's the idea, that all adult sites must be on .xxx and that only adult sites will be on .xxx

I don't think it's a good thing though.

I don't think it's a good thing though.

I think in practice it's actually completely voluntary and not enforced, so cant really see it having much impact.

There are about 100,000 pre registrations so you can all forget snapping up those domains!!!

Why would any prospective porn baron registers a .xxx domain knowing that people will block it?
