Dad's on the hunt for his first retirement project - an MGB GT restoration. He's trying to find an old wreck to use as a donor car but is struggling to find much locally.

He's primarily looking at he owners club and ebay, but is there anywhere else that is worth looking at for this sort of thing?

Yeah Its the old rotten ones he wants - he's planning to get a new body shell anyway.

Will point him in the direction of that website

Pistonheads always has a few as well. Hope he's going for a nice chrome bumper model. My dad has a 1969 MGB Roadster, such a lovely car :)

Justbeware of panel fits and gaps in the heritage shells, they were awful a few years back when dad re-shelled his, it leaked like a sieve even after extensive remedial work!

Based just down the road from me. I believe they are the countries leading interior restoration company for MG's in the UK. They also have lots of contacts for parts etc.

There is also a Morgan/MG restoration company in Market Drayton, or was, I haven't heard about them in a while. No idea of the name but might be worth a google!
