My step dad decided to cut the broadband before we even had a backup set up or any other service in mind to switch to because they were not happy with Virgin. We're swapping from a 3 service virgin package (broadband, phone and TV) to getting Sky tv, BT phone and whatever internet package.
What I need is a broadband that is quick, reliable and got unlimited usage for a decent price. Can anyone recommend a good ISP or package for these needs? THanks very much and quick replies please as I need to get a new ISP sorted before the old broadband gets cut off (which is said to be a month from today but if there's any delays it could stop me having none stop broadband and leave me without for a day or two).
THanks again.
Oh and anything above 6mbs would be fine so long as they're likely to be at that speed, I know no ISP's ever deliver what they say but like I said I'd like it somewhat reliable.

been with o2 for 2 years now have been great, get 7.1Mb down and 1.2 up and live 4.3 km as the crow flies from the exchange. Also on there phone package as well now. They have a monthly download cap of 250Gb. So can highly recommended them.

I've never used sky so am unable to comment
