5-8 grand which car

bros after a car in this price region maybe a bit over

wants something smart/stylish not jap powerful petrol or diesel. bmw ,audi ,mercs others considered.

what would you go for ?

looking at 330 bms at mo and few audis also jags . any pitfalls on any models in this range. all advice is greatful cheers.

almost all of them are either high mileage/10 or 9 years old/bad condition.

You could buy a superb 330Ci for 8 grand! Probably an early facelift mind you, but thats not to say it wouldnt be clean. My late pre facelift 330 has 90K on it and it is great condition. Probably only worth £6500-7000 now to!

Is engine size and MPG a major factor? If not,

- XJ (the newer shape - you'd be suprised at how cheap these are now)
- S350 / S500
- CL500 (if you can get a good for your budget which I'm not entirely you can).

or

- Audi TT 3.2
- 325ci Coupe

All of those are in a different league for running costs than a 330.
