If you where a millionaire , where would you live?

Depends on how much money we are actually talking about. For a couple of million (£2-5m) I don't think you can even begin to consider places like Monaco, you'd be a nobody there with a mere amount like that. I'd just stay in England and holiday a lot.

If it is a lot of money (£10m+) then I'd probably wouldn't want to have a fixed location abroad. If you've been fortunate enough to very wealthy then you should grasp that and make the most of the freedom you have. I'd probably have my fixed abode in England and buy something very nice. Then have houses / apartments darted around the world with NY definitely being one of them and just travel for 5-7 months of the year.

I would remain in the town I am in now but buy a house in Alverstoke! Lived there in the past for approx 5 years and it's such a nice area plus the houses are huge!

As long as you pay the costs for the ISP they will install fast internet for you in a rural area. I think a town chipped in and paid the 50,000 for it to be done. And if your a millionaire then this shouldn't be to much of a problem.

Ideally I wouldn't want to live anywhere. Given that much money, I expect I'd just travel for ages and then maybe settle down somewhere comfortable but modest afterwards.

A million isn't much these days. But if I was a multi-multi millionaire I'd live on a Yacht slowly working my way around the world and being at the best places each part of the year - Ibiza for the closing parties, Monaco for the Grand Prix etc.
