Well..

Not a happy bunny.. in my late/eagerness to get to the pub I parked the car and upon my usually OCD post parking check I noticed I had gotten very close to the curb. So in years of driving a crap car, it happens now for my first time.

Upon leaving I did my best to back out straight and pray.. but failed.. so not only did a Germany win the F1 and football.. they also scuffed my wheel.

What's the best way to approach a repair? Can I kit it? Should I take it somewhere?

Any help is much appreciated. But efforts to allay my worries by telling me no one will notice will infuriate.. I know its there..

Personally, if it was that small and it bothered me that much, I'd give it a go at rubbing it down a bit, touching it in and then rubbing it flat.

Or wait till you do some more.

This!

A week after I refurbed one of my wheels I managed a scuff of a similar size and a few weeks ago managed a smaller scuff on the same wheel while joining a small roundabout which had a very narrow lane and high curb!

As someone who has OCD I can tell you it's not easy to ''just leave it'' even though that's probably the wisest option. Then get the the whole alloy refurbed once it's got a few more.

As someone who got rid of their 108 wheels straight away when I bought the Z4, a tiny scuff like that is the least of your worries with them! :D

This makes it even worse, my 108s are near perfect.. until now.. with very little corrosion (touch wood). I'm over the initial shock, I'll probably get some matching paint stuff as advised to just nuke the dark patches and leave it at that.

Will wait for the corrosion to set in before a proper refurbish all round.

But what sort of alloy paint do I go for? If anyone's had any experience with any that would be good, otherwise I'm going on a lone Google.
