*** Steam Summer Sale - Selection of games upto 85% off ***

For some reason OFP: DR is tempting at that price, despite the fact I've twice tried to get into it, yet get horrifically bored of it during the first mission. It also looks horrendous compared to similar-ish games such as ArmA II.

Thankfully I got it free with a graphics card, but I will never get the time it took me to install it back. I could have done something usefull like pick my nose.

Dunno. I think Dogfighters like it could be fun, and I do want King Arthur - though I am probably better off waiting til another sale in hopes of picking up game plus dlc for under a tenner. If it were 75% off, I'd just take it now.

Not a looker in the bunch today, Operation Dragon does look tempting but that's just the Steam effect, I know I won't even install it :p

Is Dragon Rising really that bad?
No, it really isn't.
Flawed and nowhere near as good as it's OpFap pedigree, but well worth £10 of anyone's money. Definitely a worthwhile buy for £3.30.

Monkey Island pack is a good buy at £8.50 if you like your adventure games or fancy something a bit different too, but otherwise it's not a very exciting day really. Still, plenty more to come.

I'm still holding out for a sub-£10 Borderlands though...

Good to know, tempted by Monkey Island as well.

More than twice the price of Steam.

FYI: crap day.

True, but it is not as if you are saving £15+, the normal price of the game on steam is inflated.

Not to mention if you actually buy the retail game you can sell it on.

Order of war can be had for £3.85 new, so not much of a bargain really .....got a £3 voucher for the place too :D

Oddworld would be fun for some old skool PSone love, but not much else to tempt me really.
