Weird thread name :P

I suffer from hay fever every damn year and it just gets worse and worse, i take the tablets, the eye drops, the nose spray thing and it doesn't do anything!

Anyway, the last couple of days i've had about 2 nosebleeds per day. One is really bad and the other is only a few minutes... (and i havn't even been out so this is while in my house) Though 2 years ago i went to Silverstone for the day and i had a constant nose bleed for about 35-40minutes..uh

Might ask my doctor if there's anything else i can take as its ridiculous.

Anyone else get nosebleeds if you suffer from hay fever?

Nope but I do get incredibly awful hay fever! It started a few years ago and has slowly progressed to unbearable and untreatable levels. Keeping sane everyday is such an effort.

Wish I stayed in a warmer country :p

Aye, I get nearly daily nose bleeds, just had a short nose bleed too! It's a pain in the backside. It ruins your summer

How does the warmer country stuff work out? Like i went to Spain last year and I was fine.. so umm

This year is the first year that my nose has bled from hayfever.

I get really really itchy eyes, and I know I shouldn't do it, but it feels soo good! (untill after)

oddly I had a nosebleed yesterday for no reason.

sounds like you get them often though, in which case see a GP. As it could well be temperature and not hey-fever.

Yes, frequent nose bleeds here too.

The best thing you can do is take a tablet every day (and i even end up taking them twice a day sometimes if it's really bad) and over time, my symptoms should disappear.

For next year, start taking tablets in April/May time. This is a very effective treatment IMO.

Yer could be temps. As i said im in my house, most of time in my room - which is very hot as of pc. Like today i had one, 10minutes after i woke up (daily one) around 3 and just before i posted this so..

I started quite early this year...ran out at moment. They only gave a couple of weeks worth on the prescription. Then bought a packet which was £3 for like a week lol?

Not medical advice, but a wee note... thought it might apply!

The hayfever nasal spray containing beclometsone dipropionate can cause nose bleeds with some people :)
The 'medical advice' is fairly obvious so far really, just the take the tablet every day (it says that on the box anyway) so should be ok :)

Didn't know that ty, though i generally take that after the first nose bleed anyway!

I have had a couple of minor ones, stop soon as they have started - if see what I mean.

Noise has been running & feel blocked up!!

I get really bad nose bleeds in the summer. I always seem to get them in the most painful situations as well. The train is one of the worst when you have not got a tissue and also in the car. My problem with them that i get really bad clots that come out of the mouth which is pretty disgusting and makes me feel really sick.

I get it too, the other day I sneezed 8 times in a row, no jokes, I couldn't actually stop myself sneezing, and no, 8 sneezes does NOT equal an orgasm, the only sticky liquid coming out of your body is snot.

The gf has been suffering badly with it the last couple of weeks, and it wasnt until she finally managed to get an appointment that she was prescribed something - shes pregnant and no pharmacist would give her anything. at least shes got eye drops and nasal spray now. poor woman lol
