Hi all

I am now well behind the graphics card technology market and would like some suggestions as to what card would be best for my budget.

I am currently running a 8800GT which is now 4 years old, and in an ageing system. I game at 1900x1200 so looking for a card to comfortably run games at this res.

I am looking at combining the card with this bundle:

Many thanks

hmm gaming at 1900x1200, I think a 5850 would get the job done but it will struggle with some games as well at max settings, if you really want to get a comfortable card I would say save more and get a 5870.

Either that or game at like 1680x1050 or 1920x1080 should be comfortable with a 5850 at those resolutions.

Deffinately the 5850 lol!

It's probably one of the single most popular cards around atm, and for good reason! It's pretty cheap for what it does at stock and can be easily OCd!

lol i as just about to reply with:

Thanks guys

to throw something out there then, would I be better off Xfiring 2 5770's?

thoughts? would the performance be much better? im aiming to play games at max settings if poss.
