I'm bored

Come dig my garden over, I'll give you a tenner :D

Ive just been out in the garden mowing, raking and hedge cutting. Our house is rented and wont get anything. On the plus side i feel like ive sweat a lot and had fun with the mower as it has no grass collector and fired it up my mates window and all over myself in the process. I looked like a tree 10 minutes ago before a shower.

Time to hit some golf balls :)

also a lol from the driving range comment, it would be good if you could actually drive a car around there whilst people balls at you. Thats the best part about the range, aiming for the guy in the ball collector

The first couple of months are a novelty, you work hard at finding a job, then after a few months you get more and more lethargic, to the point you hardly leave the house or do anything... I can see why people who are made redundant/don't have a job find it so hard to get back into one. After a while you lose all motivation for anything. :(

You hit the nail right on the head!! This is exactly wht I have experienced since the beginning of this year. Initially I was also very energetic in applying for jobs as months went by, I started losing energy and motivation and now I have become like a sloth. Even if I want to get out of the house I just quickly lose interest and stay at home. Even leaving home becomes such a big task. :(

Oi I'm the guy in the ball collector!:D

Well I drive a tractor with a cage around it, still good fun though.

Looks like you've just found what you want to do for a part time/stop gap job. :D ;)

How do people cope with not having a job all their life, it would drive me insane. What do they do apart from watch tv and sign on every 2 weeks?

i just go out with my mates all the time, doesn't bother me not having a job atm cause im too busy and ill be starting college soon anyway.

At the moment I just hang out with mates, play computer games, read books, watch TV and sit in the garden watching the world pass by.

Take up a new hobby/learn about something new.

I'm not exactly jobless since i work 3 days a week, not in my grad job yet though, but my days involve, applying online for jobs, xbox for 1/2 hours, occasional episode of a tv show, clean the house like you did having a drive somewhere with mates if they are off work etc

Unfortunately I have just found out that I will be in the exact same position as the OP this time next week. :(

Kudos Guest2, Kudos.

Hopefully will never find myself in this position being an aspiring Graphic Designer, always able to look for Freelance work/Portfolio work if not in an actual studio.

Take up a hobby that you enjoy and that can even perhaps add to your skill set?
