Hello
I am looking for some advice for components to build a PC with a budjet of £500 so i decided to come to the experts.

Here are some criteria that i want to build to fit:

Quiet running

Plays Games at high graffics setting and resolution (on 1440 x 900 or 1680x 1050)

Will last atleast 3 years

Is able to have graffics card upgrades in the future

(i do not really want to overclock)

I will be useing the PC for 3D moddeling and Hard core gaming.

Things i need: All components and Case, I am not to fused about the case so a cheap one will do. (i do not need a monitor)

If you need anymore info please just ask. Thank you for reading and i hope you can help me!! :)

at that resolution a 5770 is a little weak, so went for a 5830, i presume you have a copy of windows.

5770 isn't that bad at 1680x 1050...

I've put a bit more emphasis on this being quiet:

If you go with the 5830 that Stulid suggested, this: OCZ 500W ModXStream is really the cheapest PSU you should use as the Corsair CX400W only has 1 PCIE connector.

5770 isnt strong enough at 1680X1050.

it was all in last months custom pc, as to which card to have at which resolution.

Difficult to fit a £164 card in a £500 budget for a 'quiet' PC though.

I did it, with a crossfire capable motherboard too, none of this M-ATX rubbish.

the psu is quiet and the case is cool and quiet, just the stock amd cooler is a bit load sometimes, a few weeks later buy a cooler, no biggie

No, you didn't. The PSU doesn't have enough connectors for one 5830, let alone 2.

Would you really run crossfire 5830s using 3 molex adaptors? I wouldn't risk that in my system.
