I used to always pick up pen knives / army tactical knives off a popular auction site whenever I needed one.

My current knife broke over the weekend, so I went to find a new replacement (I've had this one for almost 2 years now) .... and there are no knives on the auction site at all.

What's going on here, since when has the popular auction site not had any knives for sale on it? And where am I supposed to pick up a cheapish knife now, £10 for a "tactical style" folding knife that has lasted 2 years was not a bad investment :(

Knives were removed off 'that popular auction site' a while back :)

Just google 'Kershaw Knives' plenty of website selling decent priced knifes.

Maybe try http://www.heinnie.com they have lots of good knives and I got mine from there :)

That's pretty cool cheers :D a good selection of stuff

Shame no-one has invented a fold-able tactical knife that has a built in bottle opener :(

EDIT:
I lie they have

EDIT2: Man Col_M, you should not have shown me that site ... my bank account is going to get a raping I feel now

Alternatively you could hop over the channel to France - they seem to sell this kind of thing in every single newsagents :p

Why do you need a tactical knife? Is it to eat tactical bacon?

Because I tend to use my knife for DIY work, and want something I like the look of
The only thing I want this time round is a beer bottle opener adon to just a plain knife, none of this fancy multi tool stuff

An outdoor shop. Yeah they will cost a bit more than £10 and won't look as "cool" but then they will last for years and are actually designed to do the job rather than prat around with...

Ebay had to remove all knives etc. from the uk site because it is illegal to post them here. There was a big watchdog program about it, especially about the "stealth knives" that where sold (made of carbon fibre and don't set off metal detectors).

I think rypt is more concerned with style than substance :)
