seriously considering mass effect 2. I bought ME 1 when it was on sale a few weeks ago, and i have been loving it.

quick question- as i have ME 1 on steam do i need to buy the steam version of mass effect 2 if i want to carry on my save?
 
Hmm, so I bought ME1 recently off steam when it was ~£4, finished DAO so about to start ME today, worth buying ME2 with this current sale? (£17.99)
 
Already got ME2 + L4D + Red Faction Guerrilla... on other deals

awesome deals today gotta say, just got Red Orchestra 41-45, for that price you CANT go wrong, was tempting to buy it on normal disscount, but this is awesome

its the void or shatter worth the money ? shatter looks awesome though
 
Just bought Flatout as well. I know I won't end up playing it for a while but at that price it would be rude not to! :D. Nothing else is really grabbing me though except maybe Red Orchestra. Is it online only? Do many people still play it?

Edit: Nevermind. Bought it and will find out for myself. Can't go far wrong at £1.75.

If you can manage to download it in a day, sure. You can get it retail for £14.49, though, so it might be the better option in this particular case given that the Steam servers are probably being strangled. CoolShop (which is where it's being sold for the aforementioned price) also deliver incredibly fast in my experience.

Even still, it'd certainly be an excellent purchase at £17.99. Brilliant game.
 
Is it worth buying L4D? I already have bought L4D2 only the other day in the sale.

Also, Torchlight? I'm not a huge RPG fan but having loved The Witcher so far, I thought maybe give this a go?

Last of all, 'The Void'. Any good?

Yup it is an awesome mod though I wouldnt say a lot more play it than vanilla RO, but it usually has 2 or so full 50+ servers plus some others compared to 3-4 times that for RO. Number of people playing the game may have dropped in the last year or so but still well more than enough to have a choice of sever and enjoy the game.

torchlight is like anything you have played on the witcher, think about diablo or titan quest (or look at some videos), imo its well worth, but if you dont like diablo, then deff you dont gonna like torchlight

about L4D, i say yes, campaings are different (and imo better), characters ar better too, its a "different game" (not in gameplay, but everything else is different) people still play it (i that have both, play both on a regular basis), think about it a pre-expansion pack for L4D2, you are going to get new campaings (5), new survivors (4), good-old gameplay, so i say you should
