F10 5 Series Saloon M-Sport pictures

Leather looks nice, but makes my back sweaty after driving, especially since it heats to gas mark 5 if I leave it in the sun and then get in.

I do like that! They seem quite popular here already, so is the new 7 series.

It must be good when the A6 or E class I used to see have been replaced by the new 5!

Im guessing it is a camera so you can see without pulling out at junctions.

Edit:Beaten like a ginger step child

I really don't like this car at all - it just looks to bland to me. The bonnet feels too long, and the radiator grill too vertical compared the the sloping curve of the nose. There's too much unbroken metal in the doors.

There's also something wrong with the size of the rear wheel arch, because whereas the front looks ok, the rear wheels look too small to me.

Rant: Why do cars not have side rubbing strips anymore? I hate to think how many little dinks I'd have in my car if it wasn't for those.

Because they are ugly as hell.

Because they are ugly as hell.

I strongly disagree, when integrated properly with the design of the car I don't think they are at all ugly. Here is how they look on an Audi A3 and also on my E39 Sport:

See I completely disagree, I think they ruin the otherwise good looks of the E39, particularly on the front end. I think the car looks much, much nicer in black where they are blended in.

The Audi is better as it is body coloured.

I feel this man.

Rubbing strips dont even have to be noticable. Just colour coded to the bodywork, and you barely notice them.

The level of protection they offer is extremely good!!

Oh hang on.... on that silver E39 they look great on the bumpers in black, but terrible on the sides.... Dunno why the bumper corner ones look good black.... it just sets it off as a nice detail.

Looks like the drivers door could do with being adjusted, looks pretty far out in that pic!

It's such a damn nuisance, every manufacturer is at it these days. I can only remember one car in the family not having rubbing strips - the FTO - and it was absolutely peppered in dinks from other peoples doors in carparks.

Rubbing strips work on some car designs, others not. Would look terribly out of place on the Alfa.

However, i'd kill for some more protection, door wise. Dings and scrapes are a part of life down here, annoying if you end up owning something "nice". Puts people off, but hell, if I thought about it too much then i'd never own a car I wanted for fear of others denting it.

Yeah I think they cheapen the look of the car the side strips. Your car would look nicer without I think Fox

Still not likeing this. lets hope it drives better than it looks. Oh wait, they buggered that up too unless you have the options pack :(

The proportions of the front look distorted. Side profile is fine, but if those are the wheels on offer that's a major let down too.

@sidestrips..............GAY :p No 'real' car should have sidestrips.

One of them in all black or with the very dark grey will do nicely, preferably with the next gen of the x35d engine please.

I do not like the exterior a single bit, it's like a mixture of an A4, Citreon and E92+E90 from various angles (the front is all BMW though).

The interior, as ever, is awesome, even those seats look pretty damn (comfy -edit) and should remain looking good several years on unlike leather which goes shiny.

I much prefer the meatier looking E60 M Sport.

Rear light clusters are just gash. Looks like the boot lid doesn't fit properly. No flow to the design at all.

Technically probably the best 5 yet ?

Aesthetically better than the last effort but still doesn't stir the soul :(
