Could you do me a favour and go to settings - wireless and networks - mobile networks- access point names - then look for APN settings and read out your settings

should be something like mobile.o2.co.uk

i remember last time i rooted i needed to do something with settings.

i am using iPhone simplicity tarrif with my HTC.

2 hours and no joy.... AHHH!! :)

only really difference is the user name, but the above 100% works for me as that's what I'm using.

Edit: just read your other post about being on the iphone tariff, not sure if that makes a difference.

A lot of people in the iPhone thread saying it's a problem on o2's end atm. Might be that mate.
