So today is a month till Global. WELL excited myself, who's going and who are you most looking forward to seeing? :D

Each year I say it'll be my last but as I only live a few miles away the excitement of others usually gets the better of me and I end up in the DnB tent until it stops... Guess I'll see you there!

I CBA to Google - what is this?

Slightly confused how armin van buuren isn't at the top of that list and not dizzee....

Good stuff man. Saw Sub Focus 2 weeks ago, absolutely rocked it!

It's going to packed this year. Glade got cancelled and they all got Global tickets as a refund . About 12 of us going compared to 6 last year, should be good.

I'll be there :)

Mates band is playing the Live Stage on the Friday so I'll be in there at some point.

I'll be there, going for standard camping again for the second year running - just me and the mrs going this year so will be looking to hopefully make some new mates!

Godskitchen tent last year was off the hook, and it appears that it could be even better this year!

Here's a couple of vids of mine from Global Gathering 2009 Godskitchen tent:

Not me, for someone who has been going since 2001, I can honestly say it got crap around 3-4 years ago when they introduced the camping, got overly commercial and made one of the best hard dance arenas at a festival seriously lacking in a decent lineup.

Every year before I gave up on it, the hard dance arena was one of the best arenas there, packed out each time, I remember the sundissential tent having a capacity crowd and people dancing from the outside at one point for most of the night.

Cant say we had the best camping experience either, our tendt getting robbed, money, car keys, security didnt give a ****, then, turns out we had a ticket problem and was given wrong wrist bands which were supposed to get us access friday and saturday after we booked tickets well in advance, they wouldnt let us in on the Saturday as the people had given us the incorrect wristbands and they wouldnt do anything about it.

needless to say we went home and havnt been since.

There are far better events I would rather spend my money on.

From 2001 to about 2006 I think, It was one of my favourate events of the year.

Have to say I've come back from Global this year quite disappointed.

Though Shy FX did play an awesome set.

For the tenth anniversery it really did seem like they cheaped out rather than celebrating 10 years and ramping it up.

The line up wasn't great.
The VIP camping area was not a patch on last year.
There was more attitude in the air (though I blame that on signing up Dizzee and Tinie Tempah)

Though I will say I was offered drugs a lot less than previous years so maybe security was better this year I don't know.
