Was lucky enough to get to go to this one. Was absolutly mental with 65000 people crammed into the event. I was lucky enough to be stood just a few rows back from the front but...
We had to wait for over 6 hours for the privledge of being so close which meant total discipline with fluid intake and bathroom breaks. But eventually our patience paid off and when it came to 8.30 and the kings of leon started their set we were in a great position. It was virtually impossible to get off shots with the camera that I bought with me, a 5dmk2, because of the density of the crowd. I maybe should have been a bit more pratical and sensible and bought a little point and shoot
. But the pictures I did get I am quite happy with, but they are not perfect as I am not used to shooting this kind of event with a professional camera. I only just got let in by security who "MEASURED" the size of the camera before allowing me to progress
